When you walk past a homeless person on the streets of Anytown, USA, there's at least a 1-in-10 chance that human being is a veteran who served our country. A new government report finds roughly 76,000 veterans are sleeping on the streets on any given night.
The study is the result of a first-time collaboration between the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs - according to a news release from the two agencies.
