The Carrier Classic is today. The Michigan State Spartans and University of North Carolina Tar Heels tip off at 4:00 this afternoon (San Diego time) on the flight deck of the USS Carl Vinson, the very same aircraft carrier that disposed of Osama bin Laden's body at sea.
President Barack Obama will be attending the game, along with an estimated 7,000 spectators. The Carrier Classic tickets were not for sale, with most of them being distributed to members of the military.
