I saw this crazy helo crash video yesterday on LiveLeak.com, but wasn't sure how recently it was shot. I discovered today the Army AH-64 Apache crash (in which no one was killed, thankfully) happened in February 2012 in Afghanistan - according to jvmagni, who posted the video on YouTube:
A Marine Corps pilot told jvmagni that the crash appeared to him to be caused by unsafe maneuvers by the Apache pilot.
The USS Bonhomme Richard, which until 2012 was homeported in San Diego, is at the scene of an overturned South Korean ferry, standing by to help with rescue efforts. Media reports say at least five people have died in the disaster, and 295 are still missing.
