Marines Inspire Boston Marathon Wounded

A Marine who lost both legs in combat recently visited the hospital room of Celeste Corcoran, who is now also a double amputee as a result of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The Marine walked into the room on his prosthetic legs, and explained to Corcoran that while the road ahead will be tough, there is a whole new life awaiting her once she recovers. He told her:

"This isn't the end. It's the beginning."

Corcoran, 47, and her 17-year-old daughter Sydney were at the Boston Marathon finish line last week to cheer on Celeste's sister, who was running in the race. The explosions also injured Sydney, who is now sharing a hospital room with her mother.

Celeste shows despite her horrific injuries, she hasn't lost her sense of humor, which she shares with the visiting Marines. Video of the inspiring visit posted up top.
